Abstract
This Regulation amends Regulation 486 of 2007 by repealing the suspension of processing operations carried out by ships at the Shengjini port. The processing operations of fuel and its by-products will restart at the Shengjini port according to the legislative framework into force and the Albanian engineering standards. The products should be deposited into a modern terminal located at appropriate distances from private or public objects. For safety reasons the minimum distance of the terminal from the discharge point should not be less than 2500 linear meters. The depositing terminal should respect the external and internal safety requirements, the parameters of environmental protection, and the technical requirements into force.
