Regulation No. 156 on the organization and procedures of plant genetic material certification.

According to this Regulation, the State Entity of Seeds and Seedlings under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (MoAF) shall be in charge of plant genetic material certification. The certification procedures can be implemented by the Entity or any private agency authorized by the MoAF. Certification shall be performed in compliance with the following procedures and criteria: (i) meeting the conditions and specifications as determined by the MoAF; (ii) genetic purity; (iii) phytosanitary purity; (iv) laboratory analysis of quality indicators; and (v) labelling. The certification tariffs shall be determined by ministerial order.
