Regulation No. 1708 on the implementation of programmes for in-situ conservation of indigenous breeds of small ruminants.

This Regulation concerns the implementation of programmes for in-situ conservation of indigenous breeds of small ruminants under threat of extinction. The Commission for the Assessment of the Status and the Extinction Level of Indigenous Breeds of Small Ruminants is set up under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection. At the local level, the Regulation establishes the Commission for the identification of breeds of endangered small ruminants.
