Regulation No. 289 on the issue of licences, authorizations and concessions for water use.

This Regulation lays down requirements and procedures for issuing licences, authorizations and concessions for water use. The declarations for use of waters by individuals shall be submitted to the competent water agencies according to the form A approved by the National Water Council, as attached to this Regulation. Legal entities, local or foreign, shall also submit requests for licensing, authorization or concessions according to the forms approved by the National Water Council. The concessions for water use are issued for periods of up to 30 years. The Ministry of Territory Adjustment and Tourism is the competent authority in these matters.
