Abstract
This Regulation applies to individuals or legal entities that set up companies engaged in mining. The latter are obliged to rehabilitate the habitats damaged by their activities. Rehabilitation is to be planned and implemented during and after exploitation, until the whole habitat is completely restored. Rehabilitation plans are part of the documentation required when applying for environmental licences. The Environment Inspectorate supervises the rehabilitation plan implementation.
