Regulation No. 396 on the use and transfer of forests from local government units.

This Regulation lays down rules and procedures concerning the use and the transfer of forests pertaining to local government units. After the Council of Ministers approves the transfer, local government units can register the transferred area with the immovable property office. The regional forestry authorities provide extension services to users of communal forests. The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Water Administration shall supervise the implementation of this Regulation.
