Abstract
This Regulation lays down the criteria of chemicals classification and the rules for the packaging and labelling of dangerous chemicals.
The Regulation consists of six Chapters: General Provisions (I); Risk Classification (II); Communication of Risk through Labelling (III); Packaging (IV); List of Classification and Labelling (V); Final Provisions (VI). The Regulation is fully approximated with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures.
