Regulation No. 683 proclaiming the wetland complex of Shkodra Lake and Buna river as a specially protected natural zone and its inclusion in the list of the internationally important wetlands.

This Regulation declares the wetland complex of Shkodra Lake and Buna river to be a specially protected natural zone and includes it in the list of the Ramsar Convention. The zone has an area of 49,562 ha divided into five categories according to the land type and the plant covering. Only traditional activities preserving the environmental values may be carried out in the area.
