Regulation No. 72 on plant protection products.

This Regulation provides for the marketing and use of plant protection products. It consists of four Parts: (I) General provisions; (II) Registration of plant protection products; (III) Import, preservation and trade of plant protection products; and (IV) Qualifications for trade and use of plant protection products. Provisions on registration of plant protection products cover: application; issue of the registration certificate; registration of products with a new active ingredient; registration of products with old active ingredients; simplified procedures for registering products identical to those already registered; authorization for a temporary use of non registered plant protection product; and registration renewal. Forms of request for permission to import and place on the market plant protection products are attached.
