Regulation No. 857 to support livestock breeding centres.

This Regulation lays down the eligibility requirements to be met by livestock breeding centers. The Minister of Agriculture and Food is in charge of authorizing the establishment and the registration of breeding centers. The Livestock Production Directorate under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food is responsible for keeping and administering the breeding centers register. The Ministry shall provide financial support for implementing the five-year development plan, giving particular regard to vaccines, biological material purchases and breeding costs.
