Abstract
This Regulation establishes the Inter-Institutional Operational Marine Centre (IOMC) and lays down the rules and procedures for the cooperation between state institutions that carry out maritime activities. It consists of the following Chapters: Definitions (I); The mission and the tasks of the IOMC (II); IOMC organization (III); IOMC operations (IV); and Final provisions (V).
The IOMC shall be responsible, among other things, of: organization, planning and management of marine operations in all sea areas, in accordance with domestic and international maritime legislation; and coordination of search and rescue operations and the issuance of assistance at sea and protection of the marine environment by preventing pollution.
