Abstract
This Agreement defines potentially hazardous products as those containing chemical or biological agents that pose a risk to human health and life and the environment. All such products shall be subject to mandatory hygienic certification. The Parties have agreed to: (a) develop and coordinate the hygienic certification procedure; (b) recognize mutually hygienic certificates issued by the other Parties; (c) exchange sample hygienic certificates; and (d) jointly monitor potentially hazardous products and record them in a database. Producers and suppliers shall be responsible for the quality and safety of imported products. Certification of products of animal origin shall require a satisfactory sanitary and veterinary inspection. Products that do not comply with epidemiological, hygienic or sanitary requirements shall be subject to confiscation.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force on the date of notice that all internal procedures required for its effectiveness have been fulfilled.
Notes
This Agreement shall be valid for five years and shall be automatically extended for one or more five-year periods unless, six months prior to the end of any such period, either Party provides the other with written notice of termination.
