Abstract
In order to ensure the reliable functioning of the electric power systems of the CIS member states, improving the mechanisms for exchanging experience in organizing the operation of power facilities of the CIS member states, the Parties shall ensure interstate exchange of information on accidents at electric power facilities of possible transboundary effects and affecting reliable parallel operation of the electric power systems of the member states of the CIS. Information on accidents at power facilities of the CIS member states shall be used to study best practices in the development of systemic emergency prevention measures and arrangements and other events that affect the increase in the level of energy security of the electricity systems of the CIS member states. The criteria, composition, format (layout) and the procedure for providing information on accidents at power facilities of the States Parties to this Agreement shall be regulated by documents approved within the framework of the CIS Electric Power Council.

This Agreement entered into force on 8 February 2016.
Notes
This Agreement shall be open-ended. Each of the Parties has the right to withdraw from this Agreement by sending a written notification to the depositary of its intention no later than 6 months before the date of withdrawal and settling financial and other obligations incurred during the validity of the Agreement.
