CIS Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of timber industry and forestry.

The Contracting Parties shall carry out joint forest monitoring and shall set up forestry information system (art. 4). For the purpose of the implementation of the present Agreement shall be established Intergovernmental Timber and Forestry Council (art. 6). The Contracting Parties shall cooperate for unification and harmonization of standards and technical requirements for timber and other forest products (art. 8).
