Abstract
The Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) creation of the interstatal environmental monitoring system; (b) timely exposure of ecological emergencies and natural disasters; (c) elaboration and implementation of ecological safety and sustainable development strategy; (d) exchange of information (art. 2). The Parties shall promote cooperation and exchange of ecological information with UNEP (art. 8).

The Agreement entered into force on 19 April 2000.
Notes
This Agreement shall be valid for five years and it will be automatically extended for a five-year period unless otherwise decided by the Contracting Parties.
