Decision No. 108 of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission validating the Procedure for determining the breed (race) of pedigree animals.

This Decision determines the procedure for determining the breed (race) of pedigree animals, including those obtained by crossing (bleeding) of related (close in genotype) and unrelated breeds, and also provides a list of related (closely related by genotype) breeds of farm animals in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. Breed (race) of pedigree animals obtained in the territory a member state, is established on the basis of information about their ancestors, contained in the register of breeding animals. In the process of initial registration of farm animals in the register of breeding animals, their breed (race) is established on the basis of information (documents) confirming their origin, in accordance with the laws of a Member State. On the basis of breed, two groups of farm animals are selected: purebred animals and crossbred animals.
