Decision No. 26 of the Collegium of Eurasian Economic Commission validating the Regulation on the procedure for the formation and maintenance of the unified register of agricultural crops varieties.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for the formation and maintenance of the unified register of agricultural crops varieties. The unified register is formed and maintained by the Commission in the Russian language on the basis of information included in the national registers on agricultural plant varieties, submitted by by the authorized bodies to the Commission in electronic form by means of the integrated information system of the Eurasian Economic Union. Authorized bodies shall submit for inclusion in the unified register the following information (in Russian): (a) genus and type of agricultural plant (to be specified also in Latin); (b) the name of the variety; (c) the registration number of such a variety in the National Register; (d) information about the variety that is subject to legal protection under the legislation of a member state of the Eurasian Economic Union (if any); (e) the year of entry of the variety in the national register; (f) the tolerance zone or the light zone; (g) information concerning the originator of the variety (if available in the National Register): full name, address of the legal entity or surname, name and address of a legal entity or the surname, first name and patronymic, place of residence of a natural person; (i) information on the variety's characteristics and properties; and (j) description of the economic and biological characteristics of the variety (if any).
