Decision No. 85 of the Collegium of Eurasian Economic Commission validating the Regulation on technological documents governing the information interaction in the implementation by means of the integrated information system of foreign and mutual trade of the common process "Formation, maintenance and use of a unified register of varieties of agricultural plants".

This Regulation is developed in order to determine the procedure and conditions of information interaction between participants of the common process "Formation, maintenance and use of a unified register of varieties of agricultural plants", including description of the procedures to be carried out within the framework of this common process. This Regulation shall be applicable by the participants of the common process in control over the procedures and operations to be carried out under the common process, as well as in the design, development and improvement the components of information systems, which ensures the implementation of the common process. The goal of the general process is the development of the seed market of the of agricultural crops of the Union by increasing awareness of producers of agricultural commodities, state bodies of the member states of the Union, as well as other interested persons on varieties admitted (permitted/recommended) to be used in the territories of Member States in the corresponding tolerance zones. In order to achieve the goal of the common process it is necessary to solve the following tasks: (a) to determine the procedure for the submission by the authorized bodies of Member States to the Eurasian Economic Commission information on changes in national registers; (b) to ensure the formation and maintenance of the Unified Register of plant varieties; (c) to ensure the development and maintenance of the Unified Register of Varieties of Agricultural Crops; (d) to ensure the development, updating and use of common classifiers and reference materials for development and maintenance of the Unified Register of Plant Varieties; (e) to ensure that the Authorized Bodies of the Member States receive information from the Unified Plant Variety Register; and (f) to ensure access of interested persons to the Unified Register of Plant Varieties by means of the Union's information portal.
