Decree No. 224-L of the Ministry of Environment validating implementation of the water quality and resources management of the roadmap of implementation of the comprehensive and enhanced partnership agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union and the European atomic energy community and their member states.

This Decree validates the list of activities providing the implementation of the Water Quality and Resources Management Area of the Implementation Roadmap for Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreements concluded between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States in accordance with the Annex. In particular, it defines the list of rivers, not authorized for the construction and operation of small hydropower plants, establishment of water quality standards for Lake Sevan and other sub-basins, which previously did not have any water quality standards, sustainable management of water resources quality and integrated water resources management.
