Governmental Decree No. 989-N validating the procedure of compliance of food chain operator manufacturing organic production and types of organic production.

This Governmental Decree validates Conclusion related to activity of food chain operator manufacturing foodstuffs of animal origin in accordance with Annex No. 1 and the List of areas and types of products of animal origin in accordance with the Annex No. 2. Areas and types of animal origin production according to Annex N 2. It establishes the procedure for food chain operation related to manufacturing of foodstuffs of animal origin. It shall not be applicable to food production for personal consumption and processing of homemade foodstuffs. In order to obtain conclusion food chain operators must submit to the competent authority the following documentation: (a) application in accordance with Form No. 1; and (b) receipt of payment of fees for the issuance of Conclusion related to activity of food chain operator manufacturing foodstuffs of animal origin.
