Abstract
The terms inserted in the present Intergovernmental Standard are set in systemized order that reflects the system of terms referring to canned and preserved fish and other sea products. A single common term is established for each single type of product. The terms established by the present Intergovernmental Standard are compulsory for use in all types of documentation and literature regarding canned and preserved fish. Annex A gives definitions of terms and abbreviations necessary for the comprehension of standard. The Intergovernmental Standard is composed of 2 Sections. Section 1 specifies the sphere of application of the Intergovernmental Standard. Section 2 gives definition of terms and classifies fish products.
