Law No. HO-67-N amending Law No. AL-122 “On energy saving and renewable energy”.

Article 5 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Designers, developers and managers must comply with the technical requirements for energy saving and energy efficiency in new buildings of apartment buildings, as well as in public facilities (reconstructed, repaired). Mandatory technical requirements for energy saving and energy efficiency are determined by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.” Article 15 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The procedure for providing compensation for electricity supplied by an autonomous energy producer and a license holder for the distribution of electricity using renewable energy sources is approved by the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia.”
