Law No. ZR-176 “On fire safety”.

This Law establishes legal, economic and organizational grounds for ensuring fire safety on the national territory. The Act consists of 6 Sections divided into 32 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) fire prevention; (3) competence of the government, state institutions and local self-government in the sphere of fire prevention; (4) fire prevention in the inhabited areas and in situ; (5) rights and duties of citizens in the sphere of ensuring fire safety; and (6) conclusive provisions. Article 21 establishes that state forest fire supervision shall be carried out by the competent ministry or department.
