Abstract
The present Law establishes basic provisions for the organization in the Republic of Armenia in the field of seismic protection and regulates relations in this sphere. The document consists of VI Chapters that contain 28 Articles. Chapter I (arts. 1-6) lays down general provisions. Chapter II (Arts.7-10) regards state management in the field of seismic protection. Chapter III (Arts.11-13) regards valuation of seismic risk. Chapter IV (Arts.14-26) regards valuation and reduction of seismic risk. Chapter V (art. 27) establishes liability for the infringement of the legislation in the field of seismic protection. Chapter VI (Art.28) lays down final provisions.
