Law on rates of environmental charges (2000).

The present Law establishes rates of environmental charges and the modalities of their calculation. The document consists of III Sections that contain 8 articles. Section I (arts. 1-4) regards rates of environmental charges. Article 1 regards the sphere of application of the present Law. Article 2 estbalishes rates of environmental charges for emissions (discharge) of hazardous substances. Article 3 establishes rates of environmental charges for disposal in accordance with the established modalities of industrial and domestic waste. Article 4 establishes rates of environmental charges for hazardous commodities. Section II (arts. 5-7) establishes the modalities of calculation of environmental charges. Article 5 regards the modalities of calculation of environmental charges for emissions (discharge) of hazardous substances. Article 6 establishes the modalities of calculation of the rates of environmental charges for disposal in accordance with the established modalities of industrial and domestic waste. Article 7 establishes the modalities of calculation of the rates of environmental charges for hazardous commodities. Section III lays down transitional provisions. Article 8 determines the modalities of entry into force of the present Law.
