Abstract
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, desirous to promote bilateral relationships in the field of health and medical sciences, recognizing that this co-operation will contribute to the improvement of health of their populations, have agreed to cooperate in the following fields: (a) supply of pharmaceutical and medical equipment; (b) drug registration; (c) facilitating constitution of joint ventures aimed at manufacturing pharmaceutical products medical equipment, biotechnology products and vaccines; and (d) exchange of knowledge and technology.

Entry into force notes
This Memorandum of Understanding enters into force on 21 January 2017.
Notes
This Memorandum of Understanding will remain valid for period of 5 years and it will be automatically extended for further periods of 5 years, unless either Party denunciate it by written notice through diplomatic channels, at least six months before its expiry date.
