Order No. 142-N of the Minister of Agriculture validating the Regulation on public forest management, timber extraction and issuance of timber extraction permits and forest management tickets.

This Order regulates the relations between the Ministry of Agriculture and the “ArmForest” organization related to gratuitous use of public forests. This Regulation establishes terms and conditions of public forest management, the procedure of timber extraction and issuance of timber extraction permits and forest management tickets. It also establishes that timber extraction permit shall be official document for timber extraction, logging and registration of extracted timber. State non-commercial organization “Hyantar” shall be state issuing authority of timber extraction permits. Timber extraction ticket contains information on type of felling, beginning and conclusion of felling, authorized amount of procurement of timber and payment of forest management (felling) fees. Forest management ticket is official document authorizing procurement of non-timber forest resources (fruits, berries, nuts, mushrooms, alimentary technical raw materials) and installation of apiaries, haymaking and grazing).
