Order No. 159-N of the Minister of Agriculture validating the Regulation on the procedure for support of forest use in public and community forest land.

This procedure regulates the relations of secondary forest management in state-community forest land. Forest use by external managers for industrial purposes in forest land is carried out on the basis of forest management plans in accordance with the Forest Code of the Republic of Armenia, other legal acts in accordance with this procedure. The right of secondary forest management shall be granted to individual entrepreneurs, legal and natural persons upon submittal of application thereby to the competent authority. Secondary forest management related to procurement of non-timber forest resources fruits, berries, nuts, mushrooms, alimentary technical raw materials, medicinal plants) and installation of apiaries shall be regulated by secondary forest management contract. External forest use related to planting of agricultural crops for growing fruits, nuts and medicinal plants shall be regulated by forest land lease contract.
