Plant Production Support Program 2026 (Government Decision No. 384-L).

This Decision approves the 2026 program for plant production support. The program is intended to increase the cultivation of spring cereals, legumes, and perennial forage crops and applies throughout the territory of the Republic of Armenia for the year 2026. It establishes the objective of expanding sown areas, increasing production volumes, and supporting the use of certified seeds in agricultural activities.
The program provides for partial compensation of cultivation costs to agricultural producers, calculated on a per-hectare basis for defined categories of crops. It sets eligibility conditions for beneficiaries, including limits on the size of cultivated land and requirements related to land use and seed certification. The Decision defines the crop types eligible for support by region and establishes deadlines for sowing, as well as procedures for submitting applications, concluding participation agreements and providing supporting documentation.
The Decision assigns responsibilities for implementation to the Ministry of Economy, regional authorities, and local communities, and establishes procedures for monitoring cultivated areas and verifying compliance prior to harvest. It regulates the process for submitting information, transferring funds to beneficiaries through communities, and reporting on implementation. Provisions are included concerning the refusal of compensation and recovery of funds in cases of non-compliance, as well as the financing of the program from the state budget.
