Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of South Africa in the field of Petroleum. The Parties shall endeavour to promote the development of cooperation within the oil industry on the basis of mutual respect, equality, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, mutual advantages, taking into account the experience of their experts and the possibilities of cooperation in each country. They will promote cooperation in the oil industry on the basis of: a) exchange of information on petroleum policies, institutional arrangements, regulatory frameworks, technology transfer, research and development, and the establishment of databases; b) exchange of information on governmental programmes of petroleum derivatives in the areas of commercialization, distribution and potential markets; c) identification and development of joint projects also with third parties in the following areas: petrochemicals and petroleum products, exploration and production of crude oil and gas; refining and treatment of natural gas, storage, marketing, transportation and distribution of petroleum products; construction and maintenance of infrastructures and application of petroleum technology; d) exchange visits of decision makers and experts responsible for the development and implementation of national petroleum policies; etc.
