Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of South Africa in the field of Geology and Mining. The Parties shall endeavour to promote the development of cooperation in the above mentioned fields between the two countries, on the basis of equality and mutual advantage, taking into account the experience of experts in both countries and the potential for cooperation in each country. The Parties shall promote cooperation in these fields by: a) exchange of information on scientific technologies and data; b) exchange of information on Government projects, business opportunities, commercialization, potential market and mining development; c) develop cooperative projects in the fields of geology, mining prospecting, mining beneficiary and mining economy; d) train and prepare specialists for the environment, health and safety, industrial, and mining industry; e) promotion of joint projects by organizations interested in the study and development of mineral deposits in their respective territories and in other countries of common interest; etc.
