A Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Cuba in the domain of Energy, signed in Havana (Cuba), on 21 September 2007. This Agreement aims at the implementation of cooperation activities including, between others: reconstruction, rehabilitation and maintenance of electric plants related to thermal groups and electric networks, identification of international good practices in the electric sector and use of new technologies related to the generation of electricity and electric networks of transport and supply, the rational use of electric energy, based on experiences of both countries, developing adequate norms and procedures, the use of renewable energies, capacity development of personnel working in the electric area, etc.
