Decree-Law No. 3/98 approving the Statute of the Ministry of Fisheries.

This Decree-Law, divided into 28 Articles, approves the Statute of the Ministry of Fisheries, as a government body that coordinates and ensures the implementation of national policy in the field of fisheries. It establishes its composition, duties and responsibilities entitled to define the policy and strategies for the development of fisheries, particularly with regard to the exploration and exploitation of fishery resources, production in the field of aquaculture and salt extraction.
