Abstract
This Decree approves the Regulation of the Overseas Veterinary Services. It consists of 111 articles and 3 tables. The articles define composition, competencies and duties of the aforementioned services, entitled to carry out sanitary control on livestock. These services are created in order to prevent animal diseases, and to improve animal production for exportation. Article 12. establishes that the animal nutrition department is responsible for supporting the production in the field of improving food conditions, in particular: proposing measures related to the exit or displacement of herds of overcrowded pasture areas, in collaboration with the respective specialized departments. Art. 28. states that studies related to migrations, regional transhumance, ecological and pathological conditioning of wild species should be carried out by competent authorities. The 3 tables list the personnel subdivision.
