Decree No. 70/08 approving the Regulation on Animal Health.

This Decree approves the Regulation on Animal Health. This Regulation, consisting of 9 Chapters, specifying the requirements to be satisfied to perform any activity related to animal health and protection when performing the below mentioned activities: breeding, production, transport and export of animal and their related products. In particular, the Decree regulates preventive measures defining contagious animal diseases and the requirements for the registration procedures and defines the functions of the competent national authority. The Regulation is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); General Measures for Contagious Animal Diseases (Chap. II); Special Measures for Animal Diseases Declaration (Chap. III); Sanitary Measures for Animal Inspection, Transport, Import and Export (Chap. IV); Indenisations (Chap. V); Illegal Activities Procedures (Chap. VI); Offences and penalties (Chap. VII); Veterinary competencies (Chap. VIII); Final provisions (Chap. IX).
