Executive Decree No. 00/06 establishing fishing vessel authorization issued by the Ministry of Fisheries.

This Executive Decree, under Law No. 6-A/04 on Biological Aquatic Resources and Decree No. 14/05 regulating the concession of Fishing Rights and Licensing, establishes that the construction, importation, transformation, acquisition and chartering of any fishing vessel are subject, depending on the case, to the authorization or prior licensing of the Minister of Fisheries. The above mentioned authorization must be requested by interested parties to the Minister of Fisheries and delivered to the National Directorate of Fisheries and Protection of Fisheries Resources, in accordance with the respective models.
