Executive Decree No. 149/23 approving the Statute of the Professional Training Centre.

This Executive Decree approves the Statute of the Professional Training Centre (called: Centro de Formação Profissional 1.º de Maio), an indirect executive service of the National Institution of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP). This Centre aims at carrying out professional training activities and is endowed with administrative autonomy. The Decree establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Centre, entitled to perform the following activities: a) Carry out professional training activities in accordance with the requirements of the National Professional Training System; b) Promote the appreciation of trainees, providing them with technical knowledge and ethical values, for their quick and efficient insertion into the job market; c) Provide training and consultancy services to companies and other entities; d) Provide goods production services; e) Establish partnerships with public and private entities; f) Promote equal opportunities in professional training; g) Improve the professional qualifications of the population; h) Monitor trainees throughout their professional internship, with the companies selected for this purpose, etc.
