Abstract
This Executive Decree approves the Internal Regulation of the National Directorate for the Development of Rural Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (DNDCR). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of DNDCR, entitled to perform the following activities: a) promote the establishment of a network of national rural commerce with wholesalers and retailers, capable of ensuring the flow of production from rural areas; b) promote, in areas of greater concentration of rural and agro-industrial activity, the creation of collection centers for domestic production, capable of receiving, treating, storing, conserving and distributing locally or to the main urban centres; c) promote actions aimed at boosting agricultural production and agribusiness, in coordination with the sector responsible for the matter; d) foster the solidarity economy through cooperatives, as an incentive to entrepreneurship and an increase in the income of the rural population; e) facilitate the access of rural entrepreneurs of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to credit to finance their initiatives; f) participate in the definition of the minimum reference price for agricultural and livestock products in each agricultural year, etc.
