Abstract
This Executive Decree approves the Regulation of the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Sea. This Regulation, consisting of 16 articles divided into one Chapter, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Advisory Council. The Council of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Sea is the periodic body responsible for analyzing and assisting the Ministry of Fisheries and the Sea in the definition of plans and programmes of the Sector. In particular, this Council is responsible for ruling on all matters referred to it by the Minister for Fisheries and the Sea, in particular: a) Organization and operation of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Sea and their respective bodies; b) Draft legislation and regulation of activities of the Sector; e) Proposal of policies, plans, programmes, projects and strategies of the Fishing Sector; d) Definition of the Annual and Multiannual Plans and Programmes of the Sector; e) Balance of compliance with the Sector's Annual Activity Plan, etc.
