Abstract
This Executive Decree, composed of four articles and one Annex, approves the Technical Regulation on the project, installation, operation, maintenance, repair and change of tanks for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The annexed Regulation consisting of nine Chapters and two Annexes, divided into 44 articles, establishes Technical and safety conditions to be met by the design, construction, operation and maintenance of facilities for LPG storage tanks and for filling LPG container. Licensing of the mentioned facilities is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Petroleum, because of the specificity of this equipment. Particular attention is paid to the regulation of safety standards, and offence and penalties for illegal activities. The administrative procedure applicable to the approval of the project, as well as the exceptions to its prior approval, are in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 173/13 of 30 October.
