Abstract
This Act consists of 66 articles regulating fishing activity in the national territory of the People's Republic of Angola. It establishes the requirements to be satisfied by fishing vessels (including foreign vessels) and fees to be paid in order to obtain fishing licences. It also prescribes sanctions to be imposed upon offenders. Its objective, in particular, is the control and management of marine resources as well as the carrying out of scientific research on a marine environment.
