Presidential Decree No. 10/11 creating the National Institution for Biodiversity and Conservation Areas (INBAC).

This Decree, consisting of 5 Chapters and 2 Annexes, creates the National Institution for Biodiversity and Conservation Areas (INBAC). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned administration, entitled to carry out the policies and strategies related to the following aspects: conservation of biodiversity and management of protected areas; to guarantee the designing of programme and land planning within conservation areas; to carry out environmental studies in order to preserve the wildlife and biodiversity; to propose the creation of conservation areas; to propose and collaborate in the fulfilment of scientific research to preserve the biological diversity, to protect the natural heritage and its habitat; to define priorities sustainable use of conservation areas; etc. Annexes list composition and duties of the above mentioned institution.
