Presidential Decree No. 130/20 on Management Measures for Marine Fisheries, Inland Fisheries, Aquaculture and Salt production for the Year 2020.

This Presidential Decree establishes the Management Measures for Marine Fisheries, Inland Fisheries, Aquaculture and Salt production for the Year 2020. These measures,consisting of 29 articles completed by two Attachments, aim to adjust capacities to the potential of Aquatic Biological Resources and Aquaculture, as well as the licensing of vessels for the artisanal, semi-industrial and industrial fishing activities. In addition, they aim to: promote and increase salt production and quality; regulate directed fisheries and by-catches, monitoring salt production units, biological sampling, the obligation to provide statistical information, the effort limit and the fishing quota for the year 2020, including the reserved areas, as well as offence and penalties for illegal activities.
