Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 25 articles divided into five Chapters, establishes the obligation to preserve green spaces to improve urban, peri-urban and rural life and the physical and mental balance of local populations, as well as the performance of essential environmental functions, such as noise protection, air, reduction of carbon dioxide levels, protection against erosion, etc. In particular, this Regulation aims to regulate the use, construction, recovery and maintenance of all parks, gardens, municipal green spaces, trees and shrubs existing therein or located in streets, squares, public places, as well as the protection of species. Furthermore, the Regulation applies to existing green spaces in the national territory, as well as activities related thereto.
