Presidential Decree No. 15/23 approving the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal in the field of Trade.

This Presidential Decree approves the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal in the field of Trade, signed in Luanda, on the 25th of May 2022. The Parties shall endeavor to collaborate and facilitate the movement of goods and persons between and through their respective territories in order to enhance their commercial exchanges. In particular the Agreement aims to: a) Define a commercial framework favorable to the economic and social development of their populations; b) Facilitate trade; c) Ensuring the exchange of specialized knowledge in the field of trade, etc. The Parties agree, on a reciprocal basis, to eliminate non-tariff barriers that slow down commercial activities between the two countries through cooperation between their competent administrations to facilitate the movement of goods. The Parties also agree to take all necessary measures to eliminate unfair trade practices and illegal trade between the countries.
