Presidential Decree No. 16/23 approving the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal in the field of Tourism.

This Presidential Decree approves the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal in the field of Tourism, signed in Luanda, on the 25th of May 2022. This Agreement aims to establish a specific framework for cooperation in the field of tourism, in accordance with the principles of equality and mutual interests, in accordance with the laws of respective countries and with international agreements that may be applicable by the Parties. The Parties agree to cooperate in the following areas: a) Promotion of tourism; b) Reinforcement of institutional capacities; c) Information on tourism; d) Harmonization of points of view; e) Promotion of investments in the field of tourism; f) Training in tourism. The Parties undertake to promote professional and/or institutional initiatives and activities in the Tourism Sector in order to encourage its development at a national, regional and international level. The Parties also agree to share experiences on tourism and good practices in order to promote ecotourism, beach tourism, cultural and sports and educational tourism, etc.
