Presidential Decree No. 196/11 approving the National Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation (ENCTI).

This Presidential Decree approves the National Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy (ENCTI). The Strategy is defined as a set of actions, goals and programmes aiming at the fulfillment in the short and medium term of the objectives established in the National Policy on Science, Technology and Innovation, considering these as decisive tools for the fight against poverty and for the improvement of the quality of life of citizens, which focus primarily on the areas of Education, Culture and Vocational Training, Higher Education, Agriculture and Fisheries, Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Industry, Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources and Health.
