Presidential Decree No. 196/17 creating the public forestry company Madeiras de Angola (MADANG-EP).

This Presidential Decree creates and approves the Statute of the Public Forestry Company Madeiras de Angola (MADANG-EP). The Statute, consisting of 36 articles divided into five Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned public company, aimed at managing the financial participation in forestry activities, of strategic interest and with jurisdiction throughout the national territory. Its main object is the management of public participation in activities related to the exploitation of forestry resources, being reserved up to 30% of the annual quota of tree logging attributed to each province. This Presidential Decree is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Organization and Functioning of the Company (Chap. II); Financial and Asset Management (Chap. III); Personnel (Chap. IV); Final provisions (Chap. V).
