Presidential Decree No. 21/25 approving the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Angola and the Ministry of Water and Forestry of the Republic of Côte D'Ivoire in the field of Agriculture.

This Decree approves the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Angola and the Ministry of Water and Forestry of the Republic of Côte D'Ivoire in the field of Agriculture, with the aim of defining the principles aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture between the Parties, signed in Abidjan on 27 June 2024. The Parties agree to establish partnerships and cooperate through the competent authorities in the following areas: a) Professional training and capacity building of technicians in various fields of agriculture; b) Production of certified improved cocoa, coffee and oil palm seeds; c) Production and processing of coffee, cocoa, cashew, oil palm and cotton crops; d) Seed production; e) Cooperation in the area of plant health (including protection, plant quarantine, pest and disease control); f) Technologies for processing agricultural products, agricultural mechanization and irrigation; g) Agronomic research; h) Technical assistance; i) Economic cooperation between the Parties for the implementation of agricultural projects in their respective countries.
