Presidential Decree No. 222/17 approving the Statute of SONANGOL, E.P.

This Presidential Decree approves the Statute of SONANGOL, E.P. This Statute, consisting of 48 articles divided into six Chapters, establishes composition, duties, rights, obligations, organization, functioning and competencies of the above mentioned legal entity with headquarters in Luanda and administrative and financial autonomy. Its main objectives are: exploration, research, production, transportation, marketing, refining and transformation of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons and its derivatives, including petrochemical activities. It regulates property and financial management, employees, liability to third parties and the environmental preservation.
